Fur Storage Services

Storage season begins in March, with pickup available in late October through early November. Each customer receives a three-month grace period before the following year’s storage fees apply.
If you store multiple garments and only wear one during the winter, the remaining pieces may stay in our vault at no additional cost until March 1. We also offer professional cleaning and natural glazing services.

Why you should store your fur?

  • Dry Rot

Dry rot can develop when furs are stored in warm, humid spaces like closets or basements, weakening the skin and causing tears. Once it starts, damage is largely irreversible. Annual professional storage helps prevent dry rot and extends the life of your fur.

  • Stiff Coat

Proper storage is essential, but so is wearing your fur. Leaving it in storage too long can cause the skins to stiffen, making the coat uncomfortable. Regular wear helps keep the fur supple through natural heat and movement. Annual cleaning and glazing are also key to maintaining its condition.

  • Flood Damage

When a fur coat is exposed to standing water, the skins can shrink, the fur may mat, and odors can develop from bacterial growth. Because the skins absorb water immediately, water damage should be serviced as soon as possible. If too much water is absorbed, shortening the coat may be the only option.
